Over the past months, we have been reflecting on how to best shape the digital future of the Global Alliance for Peace Operations. Our previous website, was originally designed to support the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial and the launch of the Alliance. Since then, GAPO has grown into a truly global network, connecting researchers, practitioners, and institutions committed to strengthening peace operations worldwide. It was time for our digital home to evolve too.
This new platform allows us to:
- Reach and grow our community – anyone can now subscribe directly, become a member, or follow our updates via email or social media.
- Consolidate our content – publications, news, and events are now integrated, making it easier to explore the work and output of our Alliance and our new initiatives.
- Enable new forms of support – from joining as an institutional partner to contributing as an individual supporter, the new site lays the groundwork for a more sustainable and participatory network.
